Wrapped Up and Keeping Fit

I am now starting to go out early in the mornings again and as usual I meet plenty of people walking their dog/s. I was round at the my favourite Sleepyhillock spot the other morning when  bumped into Jack and Jim. I've passed them many a time on the Brechin Road in my car, but this was the first opportunity to have a blether. Jim says that Jack, who is only three, keeps him fit,  and would have him walking all day if he let him. He certainly looks full of life.

On Saturday morning I was down at the Curlie trying to get some shots of the herons, not an easy task. They are playing games with me. As i try to move closer they're up and move to the other side of the pond, just landing at the bank. Try to go round the other side and they move back again. I need to get there earlier and hide, as well as invest in a bigger lens.
I don't know if anyone knows if there have been herons at the Curlie in the past.

Whe I returned a while later to try again I met Joe who was out walking Barney. We had a good chat about the herons, and then moved on to life in general, and about only being here once. Hope you have the opportunity to paint more, and as often as you like.

John, the photo of the Labs is superb, they are 10 1/2 months old, the bitch is ECHO (Midsummer Magic) and the dog is SHADOW (Oberon Breeze) born on midsummer's day of the same litter. We are fortunate to have the 'Curlie' and surrounding area which is an oasis of. of wild life. Waterfowl, swifts, swallows, various types of finch, tits and unfortunately the predators, gulls, sparrow hawk, buzzard and old Reynard who is noted for his nightly visits. That's nature. Our daily walks to the beach keep both the dogs and ourselves fit and cheaper than fitness club. Anyway John thanks again for for placing the photos on the site and is it possible I can purchase half a dozen postcard size of the pups. If this is not possible maybe a donation to your site so that I can download it. Regards Ian McIntosh 37, Rosehill Road.
